Happy Carnaval

It's Carnval in Brazil and I'm still in the U.S., and beginning a new work week, while Brazilians are off to party all day and night. Oh, where o' where is the justice? I guess there's no rest for the wicked.....at least until 2012 when I'll be there!

Therefore, in honor of Brazilian Carnaval, I'll post a picture I found of this giant celebration at the Sambodromo in Manaus. That's where I spent my one and only, unforgettable Brazilian Carnaval (and had a fabulous time!). I actually just this weekend found a number of pictures that I took at the Sambodromo in Manaus in 2005, but my scanner won't work so I have to post one that someone else took.
